Strawberry, Mint & Pear Aquas Frescas

Aguas frescas—translating to "fresh waters"—date back to ancient times in Mexico and are typically made by blending fruits and flowers with water and a touch of sweetener. This recipe uses coconut water and mint to add a refreshing twist to this traditional beverage.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 medium red Anjou USA Pears, skin on
  • ¼ cup cold coconut water
  • 5-6 fresh mint leaves
  • ¼ cup frozen strawberries
  • Juice of ½ lime

DIRECTIONS

  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth (except ice)
  2. Serve over icea
