INGREDIENTS
- 1 red Anjou USA Pear, cored and thinly sliced
- 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 6-8 thin slices of prosciutto
- 1 tablespoon Everything bagel seasoning
- 2 tablespoon Honey
DIRECTIONS
- Heat a pizza stone on the barbecue over high heat (450-500°F).
- Roll or spread pizza dough onto parchment paper until it is about ¼-inch thick.
- Brush the pizza dough with olive oil.
- Combine the ricotta, parmesan and minced garlic and spread evenly over the dough.
- Top with the prosciutto and then the pears.
- Place the pizza on the heated pizza stone and close the barbecue. Cook for 4-5 minutes. Remove the parchment paper. Continue to cook the pizza for 2-3 more minutes until the crust is lightly brown and golden.
- Remove from heat. Drizzle honey. Cool slightly before slicing and serve right away.
