INGREDIENTS
- 2 Bosc or Anjou USA Pears, sliced
- ½ cup dark chocolate
- ¼ cup walnuts, chopped
- Wax paper
DIRECTIONS
- Slice fresh, washed pears into quarters. Remove the core and seeds.
- Melt the low-sugar dark chocolate over low heat. Stir frequently until smooth and then remove from the heat.
- Dip each pear slice into the melted chocolate, rotating for an even coating.
- Dip the chocolate-covered side of the pear slice into the chopped walnuts and roll so that the walnuts are evenly covering the chocolate.
- Place each slide onto wax paper and refrigerate for one hour or until the chocolate hardens.
